Australian Pearls

The Australian Pearls come from the South Sea of Australia. They are coloured silver, white, pink, golden or blue.

South Sea Pearls

South Sea Pearls are seperated into two different groups:

Pearls from the first group have black color. The legendary black pearls of the South Pacific, are most frequently found over a wide area stretching from the Cook Islands, eastward through Tahiti to the Tuamotu Archipelago and the Gambier Islands in French Polynesia.

Pearls from the second group are white colored and primarily cultured in the northern waters of Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia. Their colours range from white and silvery blue to pale gold

Tahitian Pearls

Most of the Tahitian Pearls come from the atolls and lagoons of the South Pacific. The Tahition Pearl is an synonym for perfection. The colours can be black, silver, dark or light grey. The rarest and most expensive colour is "peacock green".

Akoya Pearls

Akoya Pearls are cultured in southwestern Japan and China. Their colours range from pinkish white to creamy shades and silvery blue.

Keshi Pearls

Keshi Pearls are freeform pearls in colours ranging from silvery white to silvery grey.

Mabé Pearls

The Mabé Pearl is found mainly in the tropical seas of Southeast Asia and in the Japanese islands around Okinawa.

Chinese Freshwater Pearls

Freshwater Pearl are characterized by the reflection of colours vary from pure white to orange and rosy violet.

Kasumiga Pearls

Kasumiga Pearls are a new type of pearls that comes from a lake northeast of Tokyo. The Kasumiga glow in colors from rosy hues to dark pink.
